A good mixture for growing black hair longer is a blend of one tablespoon of amla powder with lemon juice. This should be turned into a thick paste by adding some water. This remedy is best for fighting hair loss and it will recover your hair's shine if applied for two to three weeks as a hair cleanser.

My mom lost a serious amount of hair when she was pregnant with me (oops). She used amla oil to help. It did work for a while but then her hair stopped responding to it :( Then changed over to argan oil because it smells better and isn't greasy. I also use argan oil but to repair my damaged hair from all those relaxers. So now we're both using Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil (got it online at beyas.ca) and it seems to be working like a charm for both of us :)
